Gda'y there. I am Shane a middle aged bloke that is growing older but not growing up! :) I am from a family that has strong scientific and defence backgrounds combining the both together. Myself, i am interested the sciences, astronomy and photography. Not much good at any of them but I am interested! I think that one is never to old to learn and when you loose interest in learning it might be a good time to get up and die! I live in a very small coastal/rural community in South Australia and work in the Aquaculture industry. Looking forward to meeting some of you on here!

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome. much appreciated and good to see a few Aussies here. There is a lot of reading material on this site and I am slowly getting through it but you keep putting more up! :eek: Seriously it is a very informative sight and I think I will learn a lot here as well as be a bit entertained.
