Kansas City, specifically. Got started with small low power gas HeNe ~1mW guys for displays photography and holography. Found the power level kind of low for any decent holographs. Went to college and got a degree in electrical engineering and got interested in synthesizers and went off and did that for quite a while.
Now back with lasers after a long hiatus and it seems to have changed quite a bit. Looking forward to hanging out with you guys.
