Tnx for the welcome. :friend:
With presentational stuff i ment powerpoint presentations and i'm looking for something between 1 mW and 5 mW, were neither i nor my audience need safety glasses.
1-5mW of blue is going to cost you a lot more then red or green, that being said you have a few options when going with blue.
*Most expensive* Option #1: 473nm, this is a pretty exotic & rare wavelength with a price tag around $250+ for 3mW of it. Pretty expensive, but few people have seen this. Honestly, if you are just going to use it in a presentation this might not be the best thing to get.
*Cheapest* Option #2: 450nm. This is more of a darker shade of blue(not as light as 473nm is)and comes with a significantly lower price tag! For about 3mW of this expect to dish out around $45.
Option #3: 447nm. This is a wavelength many people have seen, so of course the price for it in higher powers is cheaper. Unfortunately, for this in TRUE 1-5mW pointers the cost is pretty high. Expect about $200+(depending on the seller).
I went ahead and clicked the sites which sell reliable 1-5mW blue pointers and the wavelength's. Find the one you like
473nm:
Laserglow Technologies
450nm:
LP 450nm 1-80
447nm:

[Other options] You can also build your own, which would allow you to chose how it looks along with the power it outputs, we have a couple threads on the forums about this. Another website which you can buy is from
cnilaser.com. Lasers from there are cheaper then LaserGlow prices since they produce them(LaserGlow re-sells them). But be aware you need to use Western Union, and have to wait a few weeks for them to ship it to you
