Hello All-New to the Forums

Happy to be apart of this forums! I own a few lasers coming from either wish or ebay so I am just a beginner to this laser hobby. I read the other forums about the basic rules and such so I should be up to par. As for the forums, is there a mobile app for this or will i just have to keep this as a saved website. Furthermore, is there anything else i should know ? I also am a bit confused on how to subscribe to threads and things like that.......

Welcome to the LPF, John. You should start by reading the stickies on forum protocol and safety first. It will take you some time to know how everything works around here, but the stickies are the best place to start. You can also find answers to your questions by using the search bar at the bottom of the page.

not any big deal- only if that is in your profile would that appear under your username. WE like to think LPF is a family forum - in spite of those against that sort of thing.. .. you can still reach out to those here that are near you-- help on the phone is a plus AND knowing a member with a LPM can have great advantages.. know for sure the powers of ALL your lasers-- and being able to see later if your power has dropped much (which is kinds normal if it does not lower drastically. )
another thing is the various LEMs like Woodstock for laser fans.. but way smaller. many states- and the BIGGY SELEM (< google that sir) just ended- now more than 5 days long.. so sorry I missed another after making 5 in row.. way too much to go into here-- go to one and then you will say--OKay now I GET IT!!-- a common reply from first timers to SELEM (next yr is year 19!!) see youtube vids on many LEMs.. very unlikely that there are none near you.. for me its a 17 hr drive from Texas to NC. and I never felt it was any kind of time being waste.
