Heatsink for NUBM08 diode

Greetings.
I recently purchased cheap 5W NUBM08 laser diode but I can't find the right heatsink for it.
I have this copper heatsink for TO5 laser that fits to the rim of the diode, but makes barely any contact . Would this be enough heatsink for this laser diode?

Thanks!

You need to press the diode in first. Do you have the back half of the module? It will need a larger heatsink surrounding it as well if you plan to run it for more than a few seconds at a time.

I was like fuck it, so I already press fitted the diode into the heatsink. It would probably overheat in few second so I will only pulse it.

Hi,
You just cant run the diode in a 12mm module alone no way possible without frying the diode. You need a host with a larger heat sink.

Oh yeah I know that... My bad. I meant to say, is the diode contact area with the heatsink enough or not.

I tried with 1W supply and it seems to heat up slightly if i run more than 10 seconds so I would ha
ve to pulse it.
