Heatsink Calculations and Efficiency Theory

Perhaps I should lower, or suggest a lower maximum operating temperature on the heatsink...

Im not as tech savvy, but it would be useful to grab a temp probe to measure the heatsink and the diode or its can. I currently dont have one right now. All I have is a few alcohol thermometers.

Maybe work out a low estimate of less than ideal junction values and go from there with percentages?

As of right now, I have very little information on junction values. Ill try to research more about it later, but this amount of information is the most I can give.
