I don't know if its as good as the bluray ps3 diodes though, or maybe they are the same.

We already know for a fact that HD-DVD is on the industry's 'deathlist' now... Several HD-DVD exclusive studios have switched to bluray and even MS is comining out with a blu-ray external drive for their Xbox 360

As for Toshiba, they've pulled the plug on their HD-DVD production (at a cost of hundreds of millions) and what you're buying here are the very last Toshiba units you'll get.

Go to your local store and get the HD-DVD for Xbox360... they're now $50.
