Harvesting diodes from projectors?

I understand that we currently get our 445nm diodes from projectors. My question is what about all these other projectors? There are many projectors on the market, so maybe others have great diodes also?

Another question, what projector do we get the 9mm and other 445nm diodes from?

the 5.6mm diodes come from c@$io (dont type out the full name, the company gets mad when we talk about their projectors, or some crap like that) M140 projectors. Hence the name- M140 diodes. The 9mm, im not sure..i would like to know, though. I am pretty sure they are used in several different projectors.

They only come in Laser or Laser/LED hybrid projectors and we are tearing apart every new one when they come out to see what goodies they have.:beer:
