Huh. I wonder if we'll see "Anime Goggles", kinda the equivalent of beer goggles except no beer needed.

Or if you got a VR headset you can probably find some Anime VR porn to really scratch that itch lol

MG-42 and the earlier MG-34 are both awesome weapons, roller locking bolts and quick change barrels were ahead of their time, that said my Grandfather attacked the German pillboxes on foot, blew the doors in, killed the Nazis and survived.........story was as a kid my Father couldn't have a cap gun because the smell of gunpowder would trigger Granddad for years after the war.

I'm Danish on my father's side, my Grandfather died in the Danish Resistance. There may have been more to it than that, but all I was ever told. My dad bore scars throughout his life of those short few years under Nazi occupation, physical & mental.
Truly the greatest generation.

If you look closely at the pic you can see the top of a green color drum that holds a length of rolled up belt.

Here's a neat one, the Barrette on top is a very rare model M82A2, prototype really that I would love to have, made without a butt-stock and with the pistol-grip/Trigger in front of the action/magazine for anti-aircraft use by a standing soldier. A smart boy could modify an M82A1 but remote triggers often lack fidelity due to connecting rod flex and pivot drag.
