Happy Birthday Mr Alaskan.

 Sean, Diachi is going to be 23. And I'm Curtis and I'm 21. :D

Must have got confused from some of my other posts and missed the post where I said I'll be 23 soon - 8 days from now to be precise.

Took the Friday and Monday off of work, you know what that means! :drunk: :friend:

I agree, for most people it wears off as they realize that there is still much to be learned, and that a lot of this can only be done through experience.

I'm actually very impressed that most all the young members that have been here for a while, are extremely mature and quite knowledgable.
As many here have said, if most of the young members hadn't stated their age, they would generally thought to be older.
Isn't that true.
Diachi,
Curtis O,
Trench, and others i'm missing,
i'm just blown away with your knowledge and sometimes wisdom from your young age, keep on the right track and you will have much to offer for the good:)

That being said iv'e come to know there are 2 type's of veteran skilled workers, those that love and willing to teach what they know to new generation and those who hold all "maby" for selfish reasons:tsk:
Also iv'e come across older new workers who just won't listen to a younger guy that's experienced and have ruined a job run or setup from that stubborness.
Like many here iv'e been taught by my parents to listen, respect my elder's and a strong work ethic. I'm sounding like a stuck record but its harder to be lazy than actually work isn't it.
All this hijack from a nice wish for Alaskan's birthday:o Sorry buddie but there's allways someone at my door asking for something but they never return the favor by answering their's:undecided::)

Thanks GSS. :) That is very true. I will always strive to be the first type, no matter what age.

Happy birthday in advance Diachi. Don't get too drunk. :D

Thanks, I'll try, I'm generally fairly responsible.

Plus no one here understands me when I'm drunk ... the accent comes back out in full force. :p

it's very kind of you to mention me in that group, although when it comes to knowledge I have little in the way of lasers - most of what I know is re-read from here and that's only the basics as I don't have the attention span for more. I have often wondered whether I'm ADHD because I strive to learn constantly but often can't devote the time and attention before becoming bored.
