Um.... now remind me of the last time I went to watch Firework on 4th of July, and I see chopper and airplane going around... um... I wonder what happen to those people who are in the army? I guess they also needed to work on that day... um.. I wish them a safe and happy 4th of July too...
 
OK. The family is gone. I'm starting to get caught back up.

Here is a video of the view from my redwood deck. It doesn't do justice to the reality of the scene, but it gives you an idea. This is what it looks like when you give 5 million people the chance to blow crap up. This starts about 30 minutes before sunset and goes steady until about 10:30pm. Then it slowly winds down over the next two hours




This is what happens when you get too many people drinking alcohol at the same place :na:

They're usually just as loud as I am. One exception, however, I do this all year round :na:

This year I went fairly large. 500 M80s (5g) 50 "quarter sticks" (35g) and 4 100g pipe "things." 10lbs of flash powder ingredients :p I still have a few hundred M80s lying around lol
 
Lol. Wow, I thought I made big booms this year. I'll have to make me some of those. :evil:
