half threads

HI everybody ok so im not really sure how to use this glass lens.
I was told that it was a glass Lens 405 an they told me that to put the thread side into the aixiz an the plain side would be sticking out but wouldnt it be hard to focus the dot.

Well if anybody can give me more info on how to use it, an put it into the aixiz.

Those get threaded into the module threads first. To adjust, you just have to spin the unthreaded end carefully.

Like I showed in that thread I did some thin strips at the top of the lens and screwed it into the focus ring.

I have also done this but am not endorsing it because you could get glue or fumes on your lens. You could use a paper clip to spread some glue to where the ring meets the metal of the lens. Use a very light amount of glue and keep a fan on it while it dries for the so the fumes don't get on the lens.:beer:
