Salutations:

My name is Jack Frost (actually it's John J. Frost but who could resist using Jack.) I am a mid-fifties computer nerd out on disability looking for something to re-engage my brain.

Lasers are cool and are of interest to me. I know absolutely nothing about them but I will attempt to learn without being too annoying.

I don't usually post on forums but I will try.

Your location is ideal for you... lots of laser Brainiacs-in NC-
AND most would love to live closer to Newton... where every Aug there
is the biggest /bestest/funnest time ever w/ Lasers--and it lasts ~5days.

do some searches on SELEM but not the musical group--search SELEM-laser--
I missed a few but planning to make SELEM 2018..

all the NC members will be there-- you will thank me!!
