Lasers are fascinating and there's so much to learn...I'll probably just lurk for a while and do some reading. Plenty of time to make a fool of myself later.

Recently moved to Idaho to get away from the craziness...and to have some land with a shop for my all my projects now that I'm mostly retired.

At least with lasers, the parts are small, don't need lots of room but not cheap! I should say will likely end up that way, if you progress in the hobby and keep buying higher and higher level stuff. Doesn't necessarily have to be expensive.
