Here's some crappy beam shots from a 5mw, a 30mw and the Nova x125 from left to right. It is very hard to hold three pen pointers in one hand and a camera in the other. ;D

Yeah, I would say the x125 has a fuller, much brighter beam!
If you were shinning it over your house, I think people far away could see the beam in the sky.

405nm = shorter wavelenght = sharper knife = more cut for the buck

532nm = longer wavelength = duller knife = less cut for the buck

650nm= even longer wavelength = even duller knife

808nm = LONG wavelength = DULL knife

Sharper the knife = easier cut with same energy as to shorter wavelength burns more effectively with the same energy.  

Duller the kife = more difficult cut with the same energy as to longer wavelength burns less effectively with the same energy.
