Well, I'm also interested in knowing the power :o I don't have any single mode 638, hence the interest.

For the tubes, I don't follow, you have two of them? I only need one, but how much would you want for two?

Yes, I can split them up, I was just being difficult... they are $5 each either way.

I will check the power on the 638 before I ship off the LPM, but I can't get to it til later today. I can guarantee that it is over 120mW and less than 200mW. Also, I should note that that diode, while single mode, has wings when it is up close, but they aren't noticeable if you are using it outside.

I'll take both of the extension tubes, for $10 :)

On the laser can you please post a pic, and let's see what it LPMs at... if it's over 150mW, and not an ugly host, I'm interested. What kind of battery does it run off of? (Although chances are I have one already :p)

It is the top pic, with the conical heatsink and copper focus knob. It runs off of a single 14500 which is included.

Well, DJNY has dibs if he wants it, but I'd say otherwise, you can consider it sold (unless it comes in very low power... it is:D).
 
OK, sorry for the delay but I finally got time to LPM the 638nm...
It came in at 130mW at 40 sec with a laserbee 2.5 usb.
(its really not that unstable, I was wiggling around a little during the run)

That´s a more realistic result out of a SM 638nm :beer:

Your price is very right! W/o my planned TEC SM purchases I would have bought this.
 
I also just found a pic from when I was building it that shows the heatsink/focus assembly. It doesn't use a module, instead the diode is mounted in a copper plug which is mounted inside of the heatsink.

Would you be OK waiting until tuesday for payment? If yes, I'll take the 638 single more, if no, also no problem, and my wallet will thank you :p

Edit, I guess if anyone wants it first, by all means it's not reserved on anything. I need to see how my account will be doing after the skylasers gb, and ordering a whole bunch of other stuff.
