good places/situations to use high-powered lasers?

I've came up with a list of good places/situation to shine high-powered lasers:

1. dense fog
2. rainy days
3. school dances
4. at tornadoes and thunderstorm clouds
5. at areas with geothermal activity (e.g., Yellowstone)
6. steamy bathroom
7. barbeque
8. burnt food or other stuff
9. theme parks
10. concerts

(I've used my laser in bolded situations.)

Has anyone ever tried using a laser at any of those situations?

(Disclaimer: I'm not responsible if your laser gets taken away!)

Re: good places/situations to use high-powered las

I would advise against the concerts one. The world is too paranoid.
I recently took my 30 to a concert and waved it around a bit on my way to the toilet, on the way out there was a mob of security looking around where i had been... not good.
I have though, seen the dot of my 30 on cloud (very low cloud, not fog) and in the rain it's amazing.

The tornado one sounds like fun! :D

Re: good places/situations to use high-powered las

if you bought your laser from WL you can even help police with the arests or if someone break into your house to kill him or just cut off his hand  ;D ;D ;D :D ;D ;D ;D

..remember , you are holding the future weapon in your right hand...

I wouldn't try the concerts/dances. People will probably freak out and think that you are a terrorist with a green death ray and call the FBI on you. I suppose you might be able to get away with using a 5mw at the above.

Re: good places/situations to use high-powered las

my RPL would be way too bright in any of those instances. it catches attention very easily so i wouldnt risk it.
i like to play around with my RPL in the high countryside moors-
its pitch black there with miles of open land, no sign of people or vehicles.
u can try allsorts of experiments without being disturbed or worried of police etc

I did fire my rpl 300 into the sky on a foggy night last week. I waited until 2 am to reduce my chances of being caught and fired it into the sky for about 5 seconds. I got an incredibly bright solid green beam going far into the night sky. I turned it off in a hurry because I didn't want to attract too much attention.

I think people would admire that ;D

How about clubs? I think that's pretty cool. They have laser shows anyway, besides there is lots of smoke, the beam was very visible.
And basicly in a bar or a room where people smoke a lot. :P

But I gotta say, if I had a RPL-300 I would wave it in the fog at night and day until the batteries die again and again :D :D :D :D :D :D
Seriously you have it bad in the States with all the terrorist BS going around....
I'm going to Iron Maiden this summer, maybe I'll try waving it around a bit , see if I get tasered :D

thank god i am in argentina and nobody does Sh*t about regulations..

one thing am concerned is: a friend of mine told me that he saw security guys in a dance club with green lasers....IDK if he was drunk but i just didnt believe him....
i would make a very big deal if a security guard pointed a greenie to my eyes (that's the way those ignorants say "hey dont do that", they use red lasers here usually)...

could u sue a dance club for that?

is there any way to prove that? i mean, i wouldnt be able to distinguish a 5mw or a 35mw in my eye for a fraction of second (yeah i would distinguish a 5mw from a 60GW lol)

lol no. A couple of my neighbors are senior citizens who like to report you to the city for things like parking 2 cars in front of your house for too many days or not shoveling the snow in front of your house. Last year they called the cops on my friend for lighting some roman candles on the 4th of july.

Re: good places/situations to use high-powered las

This is why I hate old people. I hope I won't be like them several decades from now, LOL.
