How is asking such a mundane question as "What does the professional buy with his own money for home use" trolling to you ???

What's wrong with that question, Can somebody please explain why ???

Or is that video meant for Merpie101 and Encap ? That sure would make a lot more sense......

Not really, all you said was...

I'm not talking about shop equipment, I'm talking about lasers you personally own and or build for yourself, What do you have at home ?
What part of...
"I built Lasers way back when I first needed them to test
my new LaserBee Laser Power Meter designs...
"
did you not understand in my previous Post...:thinking:

What makes you think that I don't own all
that equipment and can not use it at any
time I choose.

No... I don't take my Lasers into my home..
I don't want to burn any ceiling fans or
doors or walls... I have power meters to tell
me the power of ALL my Lasers... I don't
need to compare burn marks on ceiling fans.

I respect my home and my Shop is a much
safer place to use my Lasers.....

If you do some research on the Forum you
will no doubt find some reviews of lasers
that I did way back then...

So... how many Laser Power Meters have
you designed, built and put on the market...

Wow all that to "What does the professional buy with his own money for home use" ?

And who said anything about ceiling fans or doors or walls ?

I just wanted to know what kind of lasers you had at home, I didn't ask what you do with them ?

So somewhere in all that i believe you said you don't have any lasers at home ?

Thanks that's all i wanted to know.....

:banghead:

Well, they changed the forecast here again. Tomorrow is supposed to be sunny with no clouds. I really hope this one is correct.

It' sunny but a haze is in the air or it's
very high spread out thin clouds..
Not a clear sky...
I just checked my spare Electronic Shutter
welding googles and they have a max of
a #13 filter.
See if you can borrow some welding googles
from a buddy.

[EDIT]
If you have binoculars or a telescope you
can aim them at the sun and place a sheet
of something dark colored at the eyepiece end
and adjust the distance between the eyepiece
and sheet until you see the in focus sun on the
sheet.

DON'T FOR GOD'S SAKE LOOK DIRECTLY INTO
THE EYEPIECE
!!!!:eek::eek::eek:
But I guess you already knew that... :)

Won't have time, I'm at work. My BiL probably has welding goggles but they'll be at his home 300km down the highway. :p

If this weather doesn't change I won't be seeing anything anyway.
