Just tried the glass Aixis lens I got from Dr. Lava with my flexdrive2 and on the dilda it makes one hell of a difference. a visible one at that I have no power meter but the dot is way brighter and you can see the beam more.

is it better at burning?

Not sure didn't try it yet, but I doubt it the beam looks thicker for some reason.  I'll try and burn something and let you know.

just burnt some stuff and it still burns whether or not it's better or worse I have no idea.

What lens is that? Is it the one, that has the entire outer metal nut surface threaded?

I only have the glass AixiZ lenses, that have a smooth top, and those are actually no better than a clear acrylic. Worse, than the original AR coated acrylic, that is in the Dilda. If i use the Dilda lens in my 186mW red, it becomes a 194mW!

That lens is not bad at all. I have not yet tested the all threaded glass lens. But a visible difference is hard to imagine from 10mW or even from 50mW with reds..

Its mounted in a metal thread, and I saw a difference that's why I left it on my dilda, maybe its a placebo effect who knows, I have no way to officially test it.
