i just need something simple like windows movie maker, but doesnt crash as much as movie maker. i just need basic features like:
can make slide transisions, add text, slow down the speed, basic features like that...like windows media player.

any suggestions?
i tried sony vegas but it seemed to hard for me, it took me 1 hour and 30 minutes to do what it would take me 5 minutes to do in movie maker.

Man, i have had every error you could possibly have with movie maker!! ;D ;D Most of them were from invalid file types, but ive had it freeze up, crash the computer, and even had media player tell me it cant play a wmv file!!!!!!!!!!

I would suggest VirtualDub, it's free, easy to use and pretty simple.
