Turns out the vast majority of Musk's wealth is tied up in Tesla stock. People have taken to protesting outside Tesla dealerships lately. So much so that his stock has taken a tumble. Couldn't have happened to a more deserving person.
 





TSLA was 200 dollars a share 6 months ago.
Reached a high of 479 dollars mid December 2024.
And is now 337 dollars a share, down from it's high but so is most stock..... for 2025 TSLA is only down about 10%, still up nicely from 6 months ago and it will go back up again, that said I would wait for the dip to bottom out and turn before buying in.

Point is TSLA will be just fine, they have had recalls due to power assisted steering failures, but tis just a bump in the road so too speak.

Musk is disliked by many...even Republicans. Rich McCormick in Georgia got an earfull at his townhall. Even Democrats are being asked to do more against Musk. Al over the country Republicans and Democrats are being pushed to to fight Musk.
 
Last night a Federal judge blocked Trump's EO stopping DEI grants that had been approved in Biden's administration. ;)
 
Political activist judges orders will be overturned, until then I wouldn't hold your breath for the checks to arrive, lol.

Also I expect Congress will take action to remove the funding for these racist DEI programs, there is no place for racism or Marxist political influnce in our schools and the American taxpayer doesn't want to fund DEI racism. it is ending, it will all be ended.

Actually paul Trump has 70% approval in a recent poll. :D 🤪

:LOL: Everything is political when you disagree with it. Congress is the only one who can change what has been made law. Good luck with that as the House has the tiniest majority since Herbert Hoover was in office.
 
Yes and no, you see when I complained about alphabet agencies making changes to existing regulations that carry the weight of law and that they were in effect making law without a vote...... your reply was and I quote you " Nonsense "

Well now those alphabet agencies headed by Trumps appointees are going to make changes to those regulations again, in effect nullifying them and the unconstitutional laws will not be enforced while we work to permanently repeal them or overturn them through the court system.

 
Yiou seem to think that Trump's EOs are more than just a temprorary thing, even if they aren't sruck down by the courts. Many courts have already stopped Trump this year. Look for ore of this to come.
 
Judicial activist judges injunctions will be ( tactfully ignored ) until overturned is my bet, however the alphabet agencies headed by Trumps appointees will make regulation changes regardless of any injunctions against EO's.

p.s. ( Tactfully ignored ) is how democrats do it, they say we are complying with the courts and then make excuses as to why they haven't done it when later asked again and again..... or simply lie and say " we are complying " even though they aren't....... there's plenty of excuses as to why...... lip service, that's all you'll get, but you won't get any DEI funding.

p.s. Now if the SCOTUS rules in your favor, then I know Trump will comply, but judicial activist judges are technically unjust/unconstitutional and IMHO invalid.

The courts are a coequal branch of government. You call them activist judges only when you lose. That's as simpleminded as Trump. He thinks that if he has a good relationship with, lets say Putin, then the country does. Very simpleminded.
 
I've been watching "Have I Got News For You" on CNN. If you have cable you hve to watch this. It is HILARIOUS! They are not Trump fans.
 
Is this thread only going to be bashing about each others political parties?
