Yup. I do think reasonable control measures should be in place, especially for stuff as potent as fent, but ultimately if people want it, they'll get it.

There are l,ikely a myriad of reasons why Tesla sales are so far down. Price are certainly one of them, but politics and other issues may be as well.

Fenanyl is only a schedule II drug. People have been using it for decades for pain relief. I have actually used it with a script. It is far less adictive than 3,6 diacelylmorphine. AKA, Heroin.

No actually the guy who fled from the police in a car with a gun putting lives at risk and then still fleeing and when cornered shot himself seemed to get my attention more for some reason.
BTW the other 15 people... where they US citizens? Maybe they were trying to get out of the USA because it's so bad from how you make it. Also how do the actions of 16 dumbasses relate to an entire country?

I was talking more about how little fentanyl it takes to be lethal more than its addictiveness. IIRC the whole point of fent was that it provides similar pain relief to opiates but with a much lower dose and therefor a lower risk of addiction.

It was more a joke/jab about the whole Trump border thing. He says we failed to make the border secure even though security for stuff coming into America is America's responsibility. So I was joking that Americans coming into Canada should be America's responsibility.

And basically, the whole tariff and "51st State" thing has gotten under my skin, probably shouldnt take it out on ppl here though you're right. Ive just had a few conversations over the last few days from some jackasses who think Canada being annexed would be a great thing for Canadians and that we'd just lay here and take it.

Just, take it easy man. Trump says alot of stupid things. I don't support him nor do I support the other "team". I'm just a guy doing his best to keep everyone happy or at least civil. I used to get so angry I could feel the blood rush to my head but I've learned to work that out... or maybe decades on medication has killed some nerves I dunno but my point is to not let what some people tell you bother you to where you lose yourself in it. I'm rooting for you, hang in there.

Its not about the guns anyways. Its more the point that Trump likes to cry on TV about how supposedly its Canada's fault stuff is allegedly being smuggled into America, when there's just as much stuff being smuggled illegally into Canada.

It's a simple matter of cause and effect, not that difficult to understand if you try..... but I get it, you're butthurt because Trudeau is a coward who will end up doing whatever Trump wants..... hence the threat of tariffs....... cause and effect.

All the tariffs have done so far is reduce Canada buying American goods. And start exploring other trading partners. Oh and erode support for Pierre Pollievre. So so far its been an absolute win for us. Aside from the backstabbing, and the threats against a sovereign nation. You win some you lose some I guess.
 
Works for me although you haven't reduced anything as of yet AFAIK, that said I would like to see us bring all our manufacturing back home..... Although in truth this is little more than Trump punking Trudeau who's on his way out anyway, turns out nobody wants the woke BS in Canada either.

Yes when its in FDA approved pill form.
Not the crap made in a basement or shed.

We all know that a strictly heroin addict might be able to get by the day using just one time in the morning but this street made fentanyl is so addictive that you come down from the intense high pretty fast and you have to use maby 3 times a day.

My local 7- 11 has that police cart in the parking lot that looks like a speed limit showing machine but with a long rod tower with cameras up top of it that has blue lights all over it and has a voice recording that goes on every 15 minutes or so saying you are being filmed.

Yet I still see empty wax stamp bags they use for heroin or could be fentanyl? all over the parking lot. Seems like the addiction is so strong they cant wait to go home and use..
I actually got narcan in my car just incase, I feed the feral cats behind the dumpsters and am petrified that I might come across someone Oding.

Actually, fentanyl is used more as a transdermal patgch than as an oral medication. It is even used IV in surgeries. Also, there's b een a lollypop version out for decades that is absorbed in the mouth. By weight it is about 25 times more p;otent than heroin, but lasts only a short period of time. That is why it's used in surgeries and some procedures.

Trump has a new knock out against USAID out on the web. It was fact checked by the Washington Post. Trump claims that hundreds of millions have been spent for things like transgender surgeries and hormones, but that is false. He also claims that they spent hundres of millions to build irrigation, tilling and even fertilizer for opium poppies in Afgahnistan, but that was not the intent and it happened from 2005 - 2008 during George Bush's administration. Trump cites several extremely low grants of a few thousand that were not actually USAID related. Trump got 4 Pinocchios for his lies.
 
USAID has funded not only transgender insanity around the globe, but gain of function research and terrorist and so much more that Americans don't support for 40 years and now it is over, Americans demand it be over.

Well, a Federal Court halted Musk and Trump from firing any of them until Monday when he will review this for a permanent ban. I told you so.
