Gauging interest in diode socket GB

Hi,
I need about ten of these but can't seem to find anywhere that will sell less than 100.

Just wondering if there's enough interest here to justify buying 100 and splitting them up. I figure about $40 per 10 with shipping. If I can get enough interest to justify buying 100 then I will buy them and distribute them when I get them.

I'm with Jerry on his one...

Those sockets are for testing, not a final build.
I don't even know if I'd trust them for testing.
A socket may create more resistance compared to a nice, solid solder joint.

I don't mind sockets, and I don't worry that they'll pop out (especially since they're made for working with IC); however, you should only use sockets if you're going to be doing a lot of diode testing, or something that needs the ability to swap out diodes. Otherwise, there's no point in using them. Even if you really like sockets, you might as well just buy some machine-pin headers; they cost a whole lot less (an order of magnitude in terms of pins), do the exact same thing (since those sockets are just those pins inside plastic), and are less bulky.
