Game: Guess the mystery object !

I found out more about the thing I posted. I noticed one end is closed off. That made me start thinking about the item a bit more. It is one of those round things that you see sticking about 12 inches out of the ground. I'll post a picture of one soon. That means my cable could've been ran through my yard instead of the neighboring yard. Oh well, at least only part of my front yard got messed up when they ran the cable. That also means the idiot leveling out my front yard knocked it over. I swear these housing and yard idiots don't give a shit about anybody else's work.

Hard to say, having never seen one before ..... trying to imagine ..... something for hold together two joints or pipes (with some sort of flanges) for solder them together ?

Something for keep a bottle closed ?

Does it have something to do with chemistry ?

.....

A clamp for hold a condensing tube on a boiler from a clandestine alcohol distiller ? (just kidding :p)

It does have something to do with chemistry, and i think you're getting close!

Uhm, not sure about the right names in English ..... is it for keep firmly joined a boiling bottle (beute ? ..... balloon ?) and the vapors exiting tube ? ..... or filter holder and exit tube ..... for keep them so they can't detach also if you move the assembly, i mean .....

I'll take that has valid.

Its a fork clamp used to secure glassware in chemistry. The usual application is to secure conical ground joints in glassware like destillation setups when working against gravity or moving parts of an installation around. More info: Ground glass joint - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Go for the next mystery!

What is this..............

A clue: you don't want to ingest it.

It looks like an anti-static bag, possibly containing a laser diode.

P.S. 150th POST :):):yh::yh::D:D

No, not a military ration. I added a clue that you do not want to ingest it. And it's not a laser.

Yeah...You usually do not want to ingest a military ration...once they go in they dont come out

It will be too hard if I don't narrow it down. It is a pouch that may be "lead" lined.

Yeah, don't ingest military rations. :)

No, not silica gel. A bit worse.
