Future of lasers

That is a nice looking lab laser. For an extra $150.00 you could have had a 1350 mW one brand new with TEC temperature control and IR filter. I have one just like the 1350 mW too.

Instead of double posting a few minutes apart, try using the "edit" icon at the bottom right of your last post. You can then add extra information as double and triple posting on here is frown on by most.

from laserland? Or another vender? I am selling my motorhome as i have too many buses and if I sell it I will get that laser you mentioned. I can't have enough DPSS 532 nm lasers 532 is my favorite color besides the Ion stuff but anyway I will get that one soon.

Here is my RGB 2000mw laserland laser the head is HEAVY!!!!!!!!! and that thing is BRIGHT! here is a link to it what's your opinion on this?

I hear that a lot and I don't understand why people think it is a mortal sin... I don't mean to offend But anyway I want to get that 1300mw laser

Double posting why is it so darn talked about so much?

Okay a very nice person pointed out to me that posting more than one in a few minutes annoys people,, I thank him very much as i don't want to annoy anyone. But there are things out there in this world that is what I call much more pressing than this issue. Like if someone pointed a laser in my eye I would be angry,, or if someone cussed and swore on here and had children and they read it ,, that would anger me even more.. but if I double post which on most other forums it's a duplicate post and that is usually by accident. Anyways not upset but I think there are too many things people "frown" upon here but at the same time I will remember to not do this,, I REALLY thank Paul for pointing this out thank you so much.. Tom.....

Exactly--the double and triple posting is very annoying.

Please do not double post. Use the Edit function to consolidate posts in 1 post.
 
Okay,,, Here is the deal,,,, I get the bloody point please please please,, I don't want 30 people doing "yeah exactly" etc etc etc, I promise I will TRY not to do that, Editing is a pain in the ass and never in my life with all the forums I am on, has this ever been an issue. I promise I will try to be thoughtful and not do this again,,, I think there are a lot more things in this world to get upset about than double posting, which BTW double posting is when a DUPLICATE post accidentally happens. I simply wanted to know if that 2000 mw laser was a good one. there are now 4 posts on this posting subject which to me is much to do about nothing. I will make a deal with you all, I promise to do my damnest to never post in a short amount of time if you all dont' bring this up again.. Oh one more thing,,, post counts ,,, I don't care what my amounts are if I only post 400 times in my life here or 40,000, some people want a huge number of posts , and to me, who cares. I just want to be friends with you all. get the help i need whilst helping other if I can ,seriously ,Sooooooo, now back to the fun stuff and why I am here , lasers,,,,, Thank you all for replying to my posts Tom.

As for new laser tech, I think curved and swirly beams will be developed. I read that the technology exists in common items, but isn't configured properly to curve light (even after having passed through the optics). It could make for interesting 3D effects. And, you could burn stuff from around a corner for extra safety, or even burn yourself in the back.

When I first got my red sanwu laser, my mom happened to have made green jello, the same color as my safety glasses. So I figured I shine into the bowl and watch the beam fade away. It looked like you could actually mold prisms out of jello the way it would bend the beam through various edges.

The real reason for not multiposting is it goes on your permanent record you won't be able to collect your $200 and you won't pass Go.

oh very cool Nutball. I have the 250mw 650nm pocket on my list to get soon, how do you like it? also i might add that I really like your avatar. close up on a diode, what diode is that? sorry for all the questions lol
