Hey! well since my collection is about to get extremely big because of all my builds and such, i thought i would enjoy my collection so far. and since its now 32 degrees in ohio, i decided to test a theory ive had since summer. heres the results:
here we observe my cheapie ebay pen and its surprisingly nice dot

here was the theory proven, when its cold and i breath on the beam, it creates a cool effect

no trust me you dont lol. walking outside to do anything becomes a hassle. it SOO cold

Hey guys try this. Cold or not. Hold your lips closed. Build up a bunch of pressure in your mouth. Then breath out very slowly into a beam. The compressed air will make the beam visible if you built up enough pressure ... Look like a moron but it works!!

Works actually, I use empty water bottles instead though. keeping the lid on, crumple it up to build up pressure (just like you are going to fire the cap off), remove the cap, and push the "fog" out.

It works because when you increase the pressure and decrease the volume of a gas, it is forced to change temperature.

your in pennsylvania though, correct me if im wrong but it gets cold enough to see your breath right? so do you mean youll never try tmacks idea, or mine?

I'm telling you. Build pressure while holding your lips closed until your about to pop! Then exhale very slowly in front of the beam. Just do it. It works!!

I pretty sure he means mine! Haha. It's just a funny little trick.

Yeah it's cool enough in PA to do it, today was absolutely frigid outside.

Doesn't it get really cold at night in the desert? It doesn't have to be below freezing to be able to see your
breath.

I can tell geez. Darn near impossible. I've been trying. Had to sit down on a display toilet at lowes after straining from practicing...

Hahaha. The problem is your blowing out too hard. Just barely let the air out of your mouth.
