FS: X2000 Focusing Head 18650 Kit!

Here's a design that is a little different...

Great for a 445 build! Or red, or blu-ray...

The host fits an 18650 battery, and has a rotating head that will turn to adjust focus!

For a 445 build, you can get your diode pre-installed into an AixiZ module with lead wires soldered on from daguin or DTR.

In that case, you will just connect your diode leads, to my driver leads... ('Hot' option kit)

Heatsink and driver cavity:

'Hot' option:

With a 'Hot' option kit, the heatsink will be glued in place using Arctic Silver thermal adhesive, and the driver will be installed with current set. (just let me know what current) There will be lead wires out the front of the heatsink ready for your diode...

The basic kit will include:

* Host, aluminum heatsink, custom focus adapter fit for what ever lens you will be using...
(with the basic kit, you will be removing the stock driver components, soldering the 'pinched' wire for negative, building the solder mound for the battery positive, gluing the heatsink into the pill, installing your own driver, etc...)




There are a few options to consider... Also lens options depending on what diode you will be using...

* Copper heatsink upgrade - $12
* 'Hot' option - $48 (let me know what current setting)
* AixiZ module - $5
* AixiZ 445 lens - $11
* 405-G-1 glass lens - $55
* 650-G-1 glass lens - $52

3zuli, it comes apart very easily...

First the retaining ring at the front comes off. When the stock lens comes out, then you can get to the emitter and pill.

Take a look at the pictures in the first post, and it is easy to see...

oh so... mine doesn't have the 2 little holes in the pill and I didn't notice yours has
one bad thing about this is that when the head is in the "throw" mode, less light comes in the lens this appears as about 20% brightness drop in the flashlight

There is a plastic piece that covers the pill...

Once you remove that piece, you will see the holes in the pill for dis-assembly...

I've always had big hands, so I'm used to them. I play guitar too, and people sometimes ask, 'how do you play guitar with those fingers'?
