Here's a quick review of Jayrob's X2000 host. It's running an a140 445nm diode with a microboot driver set at 1A. The lens is an Aixiz 445 glass. I do not have an LPM yet but I'm guestimating at around 900mw's out. I will say it is a tight fit inside the host but I had no problem putting it together. The focusing is smooth as could be. Enjoy.

The host kit from Jayrob can be found here-

Looks good! What type of duty cycle are you using?

Nice ! I still can't decide which host to get .. but this might be my new favorite !

It's a tough call between this and the solar force for a 12x decisions decision.

I've got one coming up that's almost identical to this. The only difference i can find is that the body has a different design, and my source ships from the US. My aixiz thread tap arrives tomorrow so i'll be able to make the lens threads for the adjustable head.

Nice review cd520.

@Mohrenberg, how long do you think it will be before you have those available for sale?

Maybe a week probably? I've got one on hand....and will order a batch of 10 or so in the next day or two.
However since i've got the one on hand i can get a head start on the heat sink while i wait for the hosts to arrive.
Will probably run about $35 and will also have the rotating head for focusing.
