Re: FS: New Pen Host Kits! All Parts Included - Nice!

Hey Jay, I'm interested in buying two black ones off of you. Would you be able to combine shipping or do I owe you $28?

Re: FS: New Pen Host Kits! All Parts Included - Nice!

Just add another dollar for two... (my PayPal fees and packaging are built into my shipping price)

So it would be $26 dollars for two.

Sending PM...
Jay

Re: FS: New Pen Host Kits! All Parts Included - Nice!

Thanks Jay. One more thing, does it matter if the case is negative or positive?

Re: FS: New Pen Host Kits! All Parts Included - Nice!

I can be set up either way, but to avoid confusion, it's best to stick with case negative for red and blu-ray builds, case positive for green. (IMO)

In a red build, if you wanted case positive, you would have to isolate the diode/module from the host. So that's why I think it's better to build all blu-ray and red with case negative...

And just to make sure we're on the same page, case negative would mean that the negative pole of the battery would be touching the screw on cap at the end, correct?

Re: FS: New Pen Host Kits! All Parts Included - Nice!

Yes, case negative means that the battery negative is touching the host/tail cap/or tail cap switch if that is the type of host...

With these pens, the tail cap.

Thanks! I received them today (Monday). Lightning fast shipping, and these pen hosts are freaking sexy in my hand! Can't wait for my 10440's to arrive so I can put this bad boy together! :san::san::san:

Re: FS: New Pen Host Kits! All Parts Included - Nice!

Got the pen host in the mail today! Thanks. It looks amazing.
What's the little white pad on the back of the button? Not the actual pushbutton but the painted one.

Re: FS: New Pen Host Kits! All Parts Included - Nice!

The pens are like that...

The side button just glues or sticks on last. Leadlights are the same way...
Jay

Re: FS: New Pen Host Kits! All Parts Included - Nice!

wait so is the white pad supposed to be on there?
It looks like its held onto the back part of the button with some glue but its loose and about to come off. Should I just leave it as it is?
