Bump because I have one, and it's unbelievable.
My 6x GGW puts out somewhere around 250mW.
Had it on for 12 minutes straight one time and it was still cool to the touch, so well made.

If I used 3.7v batteries would this work with an Oclaro 700mW 638 Diode? (HL63193MG)

I've been trying to find out voltage/amperage sag for a couple of them but I can't find any tests.

Maybe just set the driver and see what the batteries do?

You need to know your driver / diode combination to determine what supply...

Check with DTR when you buy the diode:
