I have a few left over from buying in bulk and am curious if anyone is interested in buying 1, 2, ...

I have 6 available but can get a lot more.

Asking $25 shipped in continental US. send me a PM if interested

also selling Aixiz laser modules for 4$ shipped at www.hightechdealz.com
along with diodes installed in modules and completed minimaglite lasers.

You should find a LOT of people interested in these! If, you can show us the data sheet!

Hey, I just looked at your site, you do realize that if you start selling those mini maglites, the diode has a very high chance of dying since your not using a driver, right?
I'm just trying to help you out, because people are going to start sending you emails complaining why their laser died.

is SenKat = Greg Stoner? and I can compete with him if there's enough buying demand. I could sell the diodes for $19 and pre-installed for $25.

and on my page in my sig there's some pictures of the actual diode installed in an Aixiz housing

I meant if you could take a pic of the diode up close to see the product #, I want to make sure you're selling SLD1236VL diodes, and not SLD1236VL-54 diodes.

ah ok i see. i just read the post about the confusion of the -54 and original models. I'll take a pic later and put it on my site.

and yes i know there is no driver, im not too concerned as I only turn it on for a few seconds at a time

Yeah, but do you think the people who buy your laser will only turn the laser on for a few seconds? And even if you do give it a short duty cycle, the diode still has a very high chance of dying because of all the current going into it, and not to mention those nasty spikes. I suggest you place a resistor and a capacitor, or at least a resistor to offer some protection. But you would be better off not selling the entire laser. Trust me, you're going to start getting a lot of complaints from people.

tru. i've only sold 1 anyways.. i'm just trying to get rid of the few diodes i have left.

maglites are $10 anywhere. cant really beat that.

and im looking at the diode now, it has "6EJL" then "1017".

ooOO, well I think $50 shipped would be the best I could offer a completed Laser for. PM me your paypal email and i'll send a money request.

and about chibo's note, that means that these diodes are slightly less powerful than stated, so probably 200mW pulsed power and 60-70mW CW power. (still plenty to pop balloons / light matches or whatever)
