FS: 1W 445nm lasers in finned sipik hosts **PRICE DROP**

the 1.2W with modes arrived today, and I have no complaints what so ever! Everything was nice and safely packaged, and arrived unharmed. Wasn't expecting it to be so nicely focusable, could technically use it as a very bright torch if you focus it right :p all in all, definitely worth it :) thanks!

I guess you figured out the battery polarity. heh. Sorry on the delay on responding to that. I just got home from work.

Actually I find myself using the Eagle Pair a lot more than I use the OEM ones.

IIRC the OEM have a rating of OD7+ while the eagle pair only offer 4+ Which is still more than enough for 2W+ of power imo. The big difference is the VLT (visible light transmission) on the eagle pair is much better.

Not to say that it's bad on the OEM, but I have forgotten that I was wearing the eagle pair on a few occasions and watched tv with them on... that never happened with the oem ones.

So for the price, they are definitely the way to go:)

lol never watched tv in them considering everything is green

but they are pretty comfortable unlike allot of glasses

glasses good for green are no good for driving-- I thought the traffic lights were out, As all I coud see was the red lights. JETL has those IIRC 23$ during the GBs and they come free with all lasers. They send a different kind (either green color lenses or blue)with any red laser buy. od4 on all. good for thier price range.

 Never drove in my laser goggles, but good to know:p

The ones from jetlaser for reds (got them last night) seem to do a very very good job, just wish they fit better over my glasses:o

:cryyy:You were offered choice of goggles (for use with eyeglasses) or glasses, I could have sent your choice- its all in each of my GBs on post #1or2.:shhh:

I have been choosing the glasses style by default unless I'm told otherwise.- also in the threads--sorry.

I have high hopes for a GB #7= :D

it would be nice to make DELIVERY before the :san:holidays= or after ( that is never actually determined by me-I try to be fair to both those ready and those who want to wait.

... not sure if lasers over 400mW will be ready in 405nm.
Doubtful for 638nm lasers atm. But JL is aware and working on this.

hak:thanks::wave:

THese 445s From Qumewfox are a great deal. Also would make a swell Xmas gift. Better jump on one NOW!

I think you misunderstood:o The goggles are the best goggles for reds I own as of this time. They do a very good job and I'm happy with them.

I consigned myself to difficulty in finding well fitting goggles when I decided to wear glasses in lieu of contacts:(

Actually if anything the goggles are a bright note in the GB experience. Finally got around to LPMing the TiB:undecided:

Okay- The goggles style from JETL are a little bigger allowing glasses with them.

btw
The battery in these 532/200 is small and they do drain fast.

Too bad the Ti=B was not made big enough to hold a 18650.
When using my slower Alpha LPM the power drop from the battery begins to show before he meter reaches the peak. For that reason I like to use my Kenometer.

+2 rep for your help---hak

I am interested in one of these, but I think i have protected 18650's how can you tell if they are protected or n0t?

just give us a link to the ones you have, and we can tell you. The only reason protected's don't work well with these is due to the added length. Sipik should have made the battery tubes 3mm longer.. then it wouldn't be an issue.

By the way, i'm down to one of this batch of lasers.

I dont have the link anymore, I ordered these a while ago. They are about 658 mm long. That would make them protected right?

68mm means it's protected. it's the extra 3 mm that causes the issues. non-protected cells are 65mm. it's what the '65' in 18650 means. 18 is diameter, 65 is length, 0 means it's cylindrical. protected cells would actually be 19680's after the protection circuits are added, since that's the new physical dimensions. But they don't call them that, because in most things, it doesn't matter. But in these sipik lights.. it does. I've considered switching back to the tank007 hosts but that will increase costs.

I would trust my eyes with o'like. But I did just get a good deal on 445 glasses from dragonlasers. I believe they were less than thirty and I've heard only good things about those glasses
