For the sake of a matched set, have you noticed anything changed in the styling of the host you use? This is from about 6 months ago.

P.S. For those waiting on the Stainless Steel 18650 kits, there may be some more delay. Possibly not, but I just shipped out my last SS host on hand yesterday. I'm really sorry about the wait. I wanted to keep everybody informed though...

I have 25 hosts on order. Three different orders from two different suppliers. I should have had some of the orders a week ago. I think they may be back ordered.

But that said, I could get them tomorrow. It's just a pain trying to keep them in stock with the demand.

These orders were placed 7/25, 8/9, and 8/24...

That's to show you how I have been trying to keep stock and it messes me up when I can't get them...

I sure hope I get some of my orders soon...

Hey jayrob, if i chose the drill out the pill option is it drilled to 12mm cause my 445 diode isnt in an axiz, but it is in a 12mm case, i ask because i think there are different sized axiz modules right? Also should i use thermal paste between the case and heatsink or would that be unecessary? i suppose this setup would total $57

Hey just in case you haven't already done so, read up on proper eye protection...

I've never used thermal paste, but if you use it, just be sparing with it. If it worked it's way onto the diode, it would not be good...

About the size of the bit. I use a 5/8" bit to drill out the top of the pill...

But you won't be using the back 'barrel' part of you AixiZ module. (not needed) There is not room for it's full length anyway. The front 'business end' of the module is all that is used...
