FS: 18650 Build Kit! Easy Assembly! 445nm, Blu-ray, or Red...

The switch itself is rarely the issue...

All you have to do normally, is unscrew the switch from the tail cap using the tips of needle nosed pliers, and then tighten the black plastic retainer on the back side of the switch, and then put the switch back.

It should be fine after that...

needle nose pliers!
I was trying to use 2 nails, and all sorts of other things w/out luck.

And, it fixed it.
Thanks a lot.

Your welcome!

ZRTMWA, I sent your 18650 kit with copper (longer) heatsink, blue tritium marker in tail cap, and other items today. (Monday)

XCreedX, same goes for your 18650 copper heatsink...

Thanks!

I think i will buy this kit too, with the recomended installations for the 1w 445 blue diode. Btw.. do you sell complete lasers with 445 diodes, maybe with this host?

Sorry, no complete lasers. My kits do not even include the laser diode...

You must buy your own laser diode and install it in order to turn my kit into a laser.

There are diodes available in the BST section. Look for daguin or scopeguy20...

quantile, I sent your 18650 kit with copper press fit heatsink today. (Tuesday)

Thanks!

jd359 ('Hot' option, copper press fit heatsink, EzFocus adapter fit for AixiZ 445)

I set your 'Hot' option at 800mA's per your request...

Thanks!

18650 kits shipped today: (Friday)

bhank (with copper heatsink)
yobresal (your heatsink)
styropyro (your kit)
daguin (your 18650 heatsink with other kit and extra heatsink)

Thanks!

With the microboost at fullblast , it would flicker, i installed one of these heatsinks on the main "coil" which was getting the hottest, with the pins clipped at half and now, no flickering...

Good to know...

You mean the main coil that has glue on it?

Did you remove the glue first?

yes that is correct. other components, naturally do get hot , but the coil at touch was the warmest. and thats where i placed the heatsink.

edit , for now i used the thermal tape that came with it , but i also ordered arctic alumina adhesive which will be the final adhesion to the coil and the heatsink for the best conductivity.

Think may be a good solution for the flexdriver set a max as well?

Just today I set my microboost to the max 1.2A, and to heatsink it I covered the side with the coil in about a gram of cheap nonconductive thermal grease and stuck it to the top of the pill. I think it's working OK. I'm waiting on some thermal padding in the mail, but I don't think I'll use it.

Heatsinking it might be smart, but this host won't work very well with a flexdrive lol.

It will work fine with a V5 FlexDrive, or a Micro BoostDrive...

Some are setting the FlexDrives way above what the documentation says it can do, but the drivers seem to be handling it. But at higher currents, you need to put a heatsink on the 5 pin chip...
