Well I actually havent paid for it yet the shipping went from 10 to 50 so I'm still crunching the bitt... added a bunch of other stuff from the seller trying to get a reasonable shipping but it doesnt look good 1 pid 1 relay 1 heatsing 8 banana clips 8 other clipps and 120$ shipping~! Scrudge that.. the pid was 28 with 10$ shippin then it was 28 with 50 then all my addons were 24$ shipping added on. and there baggie items... I was upset...

Buy elsewhere then. The PID I bought was $35 but it was cheap and doesn't come with good instructions. Its just sitting there taunting me... I suggest doing some extra research on what one to buy for this. Dont make the same mistake I did.

Yep you can controle umm Period interupt and disrupt.. lmao... I duno I have seen them programmed by little old ladies but I 'm not sure I can do it without a USB connection... lol I may take a lump here but I'm definately going to just try to reflow controling it manually... when the paste arrives...

Dont Quote me on that though!

Thats what I was planning too. :P

I actually am just starting to learn Arduino, so maybe I will be able to use one of those.

I build a small CNC machine out of a couple ripped up DVD drives and an arduino. Then I needed a laser to put on it and the rest is history Never did get a laser on it yet.. but I'm still having fun...

I did 1 build with the arduino with stepper drivers and dvd stepper motors etc the cnc works fine with Ummm Grtbler or what... gerber.. GTRLBR.. I dont remember it's why I found this Hot Laser 'Pointer' Forum..
I wanted to mount a laser on it and then i saw a bigger picture... I have old flat beds dieing for controles... little lithium grease and away we go..

yeah, i've got a massive amount that i'll never use....2lbs of it i think.

the tubes looked smaller in the picture, like 10cc tubes, but they ended up being like 100cc

I thought of getting some 5cc syringes and 22g IV catheters and making it available to people who wanted it. with a single 5cc syringe you could probably reflow over 1000 boards.

Couple of questions,

1. Have you given any more thought about selling any this way?
2. Is that what you basically do? Put it on the boards with a syringe as opposed to using a screen?

Thanks,

Hey guys, what parts of these should I be heatsinking? The side with all the components on it, or the side with the big black thing?
