Is anyone aware of an actual formula or algorithm for calculating the absolute or relative perceived intensity of different wavelengths?

It would be great to have some concise statement of the math behind comparing 532 to 635, etc - with more precision than just looking at the graphs and "eyeballing" it :)

There has to be - because the charts/graphs are all based on something.

Also - I've seen the math in the thread here before, I just can't find it. It even went into raleigh (?) scattering, etc. Love to even find this thread :)
