For those that have a high powered 405 and 445 which do you Prefer

I think i'll be building a 1w 445 first and then a 100-150mw 405 soon after, I just have to find someone who is proficient at soldering. Shouldnt be too hard though, there has to be someone who can solder well in my university

I am gonna build a 1W 445 first, then a 12X after. Already did a PHR build...405 is nice. Post pics when you get urs done....also, maybe look in the engineering department for soldering people....i think?

I've got my 405 running at ~180mA not sure of the output tho (No LPM) just ordered a host from FP and mabe sticking my PHR in that and put a 445 in my Guidesman.

My 405 burns quite nicely and can almost cut thru the thin matchbook matches

Yeah I was gonna check the engineering and physics departments, Im sure someone there is an soldering expert. Shouldn't be too hard to find.

Since I already have a high power 445 and a couple of 405 pens, I am going to build a 12X 405 @ 650mw (or close to 650 or higher). That will have to wait until after the first of the year when I have some money again.
