No driver. You buy one of the modules that DTR sells for these mods and then you can adjust the voltage/wattage out to adjust the output of the DTR module so you get a variable output laser.

Pman is correct and you will need a driver and diode and the 22,module if you just install a diode it will not work its a very simple build it also has some kinda modes i just testes my 638nm on it i did something in the menu and i made it, strobe, you can also set it up once you press the button the laser stays on for like 3sec and turns off has more futures to test
