For sale : 501B lasers with copper heatsink from $80

What batteries are best for these? Obiously 18350 but are the protected ones better or worse?

And thanks Blord - thanks, the one I got is great :)

Tim

Any 18350 batteries will fit the 501B lasers. Protected batteries are longer in length but that won't be a problem.
The million dollar question about the best batteries. Any brand batteries will fit the description of a good battery. The better batteries cost more.

LOL - yeah, I really meant is protected better than non protected rather than best brand or whatever. That is a separate and very long discussion!

So is it worth getting protected ones?

Tim

Just to say thanks
I received my 2.4+ Watt 445nm laser in 501B casing today

Hi
I live at 1 hour by flight from belgium
So I received the laser 3 days after sending payment with paypal.
For price and discount ask Blord and compare with laserbtb (2watts 445nm -> 213 $)
For output power I can only compare with my 445 nm 1.6watt from laserbtb !
When they run together there is really a huge difference in intensity for the 2.4watts.
And if you have a flashlight WF-501D then you can interchange the case with the 501B and use 2 x 18650 instead of 2 x 18350.

Actually , ı can't find 18350 battery.

18350 Battery is not preferred ?

Probably I'm not buying any more. This laser is my firs and last laser. :san:

2.4 W is too enough for me. But like ı said ; ı can't find 18350 battery.

Blord when you start using a new case?

This case looks like not preferred... :tsk:

Yes, I have one PL450 450nm diode in stock. It gives a nice round dot in contrast to the highpower 445nm diodes. The drawback is the maximum output of 300mW.

The price is $90 for the single mode 450nm blue laser.

Pm me if you want one.
Thanks
