Fog rolled in yesterday, so I got some images. The beam of this red laser can never be seen, even at night, but the fog was so thick, it was very easy to see.
Sorry some of the images (most of them) were out of focus. My camera doesn't have good iso which sucks.

you need to have you camera and the laser both on tripods for stellar laser photos.

we had thick fog here yesterday also. My PT-54 LED (shooting through a DLP TV lens) was the most impressive to me.

Is that a spotlight laser (just kidding) ?!?! Minimal Divergence and huge beam diameter! How many mw is that beam?
Edit: oooh and what about using long time!

It is a PT-54 LED. DTR sells them.
I don't have a LPM yet (bought one yesterday from no-spin waiting for it to arrive) so I don't know what mW the beam is. I have tried different lenses and found this one the best. I have no driver to it right now and run it until battery dies, the battery in use right now is from a PS3 controller 3.7 volts @ 570 mAh

It is a L.E.D. from a projector not a diode. Red ones are around $10 or $16 with heatsink and optics the blue ones are $18 and green are all gone but are them on Aliexpress for $35 or so.
Search pt-54 or do a search for "Phatlight" and you'll get all the info you want.

Now I feel silly. That's why it's so wide. How many lumens does it claim?

This is my custom C6 PT 54 flashlight compared to a 800-900 lumen flashlight. To my eyes i would guess it to be around 700 lumens.

Even though it takes 20 seconds to become too hot to hold, its still pretty impressive :D

DTR used to sell those too, I bought a bunch of them but didn't end up using them, now I'm tempted, nice photo :)
