Ok just recieved 8 units from Focalprice 100 mw pen styles
as tested on 2-23-09

my opinion don't buy from here i asked focal price why they were underpowered they said how do you know they are underpowered i said i checked they saido k send back and they would check them out  well not worth the wait or effort that makes 9 out of 9 about 40% underpowered

Oh well... label them 50 and you actually have a very nice batch

It seems to be a general trend with these DX-style AAA pointers: none of them perform much above 50 mW average, no matter what they are labeled as.

These might actually just be the ones ledshoppe is selling as 50 mW, but labeled as 100... do they have the thin or the fat beam?

Just for the record, my FP (same style) outputs well over 100mW although it was sold as their "200mW" version, so it is POSSIBLE to get these pen styles in the higher outputs (just not likely, I guess)...

I did a full review a while back - search for it under "Focalprice 200mW"
