title says it, has anybody ever done that? obviously with a bluray laser...  ;)

if so give us details! pics, mixture, taste, everything!  :)

go on...

;D

maybe there is something fluorescent that is safe to breathe? otherwise, what about masks? but for that we'd need something unsafe to fog, ideas? i am not sure how textmarker fluid behaves in a fogging machine/steam iron... :-?

to ask a general question: what fluorescent fluids do you know?

Well, anything that has phosphorus will flouresce, including pee. I don't think the marker stuff will evaporate though. Also, flourescent stuff would be... messy... as it would stain everything

how about adding washing detergent to the mix? (at your own risk) it includes phosforus

detergent is more dangerous than fluorescent highlighter marker, you could eat that stuff without much bad effects since its' "non toxic"

haha i wanted to make a thread just like this.... where are the chemics?

Well, no Chemist here, but I WILL say that of all the brands of haze and fog juice we've used over the years in everything from JEM 24/7 hazers to good 'ol 1500w smokehouse foggers, Martin makes a product called "I-Fog" which allows the Blu-Ray beams to show up FAR better than anything else we've used (Froggys Swamp Juice, Z-Tec, etc) ...

At around $32 for 1.3gal shipped here in the US it's a great deal too - some of the cheaper fogs (Chauvet, TOV, etc) actually diminish the Blu-Ray effect as they thicken, anything more than the lightest haze makes the BR units just "Go Away"...

Here's one to try, though - go to http://www.froggysfog.com and check out their photoreactive bubble fluid - I never thought to use that with our BR lasers before (we generally only run the bubble machines outdoors to keep things less slippery dance-floor wise). I have a couple of quarts of the gold back at the shop, gonna try and get some vids at tomorrow nights show of the gold photoreactive bubbles witha Blu-Ray for ya!

It should be orange... How much power? I think any more than 5mW would be too much green and you wouldn't be able to see the flourescence.
