a jig saw will yield great holes if you have a steady hand. my late grand pa was a carpenter and that was his method of choice.


but you do have more options... you can get those large diameter round wood cutters. they start at like .75" up to way larger.

I don't trust myself to do that. I will just use a hole saw.

Or, you could try find someone local to you with a laser cutter or CNC machine. That'll give you perfect circles every time
