Alright. I've been closing every night at work, so I haven't had much time to do anything lately. But I'm off tomorrow so I figured I would get some pictures up.

Powered it up with a usb cable and a 100ohm resistor. I still havent received my driver, But so far this laser produces NO HEAT. I've tried focusing it to a point and I have the smallest point an inch or a few inches out and it will not even light a match. I hope it gets hotter with the driver. Here's a pic of the usb and some beam shots.

I can't really get it to focus to infinity, and when I get close I have the adjuster screwed almost all the way into the module and I get a glare off of the module, as seen in the beam shots.

I got my driver today(finally!). I already did some customized it a bit. I forgot to take a picture before I modded it, but here we go.

Heres the front of the board. Shows the potentiometer in the top left corner and the switch was in the middle, but I already bypassed it, with a bit of a resistor prong. I also removed the spring from the rear, because there isnt enough space inside the module for the batteries so its pointless to have it there. instead I have 3 wires coming off, 2 negative(I reused the original wires from before I had the driver, so I had a + a - and a case pin wire) and the positive.

Now here is the back of the board, where the wires connect.

Here is the original button(the one I bypassed) soldered inline with the negative wires. I'm going to eventually have the switch in the tail cap of my host, so I didnt need the one on the board. And the spring I removed.

Here I'm shining it into my laser safety glasses. This is with enough power to light a match and burn black plastic. It does not fully block the light. But, condoms are not 100% effective. So as they say, no glove no love. So I will wear the safety glasses because its better than nothing.

And here is the beam on the other side of the glasses.

Reflections are your enemy lol, any white shiny stuff (inc of the fridge lol) will reflect ~80% of the light back at u, this just cuts that 80% down to a fraction of what would have hit ur eye.
