First Laser

So I just became interested in lasers recently. After looking around I decided I want a green laser from 500mw-1000mw. I was looking at this laser but it is kinda expensive. Does anyone have any other suggestions?

Because your new, i will advise a 1000mW 532nm laser, its far too dangerous in the hands of a user than has little knowledge.

Start off with a low power red laser (660nm) for example, or better still build your own!
You will get way more satisfaction if you build it yourself

500mW 532nm is kinda expensive everywhere else too.. You are not going to find cheap 532's in that power!! better to start off with a 50mW 532nm , OR, 300mW 660nm from Lazerer.com or O-like.com and they have great prices too!! These two are still powerful enough to blow you away!
