Looks good, just need to solder some wires on it so you can connect it to the driver. Keep the wires 2.5" or less so you can use this with a flexdrive down the road. Make sure to connect the dummy load to your driver before connecting you power source. When you have your driver set be sure to discharge the cap before connecting it to your diode.

ok so everything came in today. i will be doing the test load when i get back from work, and im setting it to 100ma. :)

yay, i did it, it works too :D lit a match and melted black tape... although it looks really weird in the temp case i made...ill put up pics in the morning :D yay good night now. it 2:36 am

I love it!! That is the way to make good use of what you have available!!

hey everyone, its been a while, but ive now got a problem with my laser.
a few days ago i came to use it and all it gave out was 3 vertical lines. ive charged the bats for ever and checked the wireing and the lens but i do not know why... any help would be great.

hey everyone, with my diode going zombie on me i purchased a new higher nm one and just thought id fill you all in on my new beta casing that im working on.. itll support the use of 9v bats as well as 3 14500 or 4 AAA's ..

the guy at home depot was no help when i was looking for threads and pipes etc, he told me that he can only help with pipes and nothing else(special projects), so i had to find, cut and modify everything on my own..

:)

link to album.. its protoype 2 btw.
