First Build Questions

I am looking to build a handheld laser for under 40 dollars that is at least 50mw. I have a small parts list and want to make sure everything will work as it should before I make the purchases.

Housing:

I want to learn to build lasers and would like a cheap and simple project I can practice with. Please guide me through doing this as you would a complete newcomer.

not sure how that driver would fit in that host as i've never used it before. but your going to have to make a test load to check which ever driver you choose output current. because the diode you choose only can handle low current you have to be able to verify the current output of the driver is safe.
