okay, thank you, so if i get the original module and the C6, an unanodized heatsink and if i cut a spring so its slightly shorter it will all fit hopefully.
Will i need to remove any anodizing on the inside of the c6?
Yes you need to remove enough anodizing for the host to make contact with the heat sink and module. After removing some of the anodizing you will test it with your DMM to see if it makes a good connection.
okay, so just to finalise.
I buy the module, c6 and heatsink + batteries.
Cut of the wires and attach a spring.
de-anodise the inside of the c6.
Short the switch
and then assemble?
