First Build, Fail

I set my iron HIGH. Melt it quickly so the heat doesn't have time to travel to the LD. That's why components don't burn out in a solder wave machine.
Low temp lets everything soak up the heat.

ah, well then snips it is, i dont want to risk anything :/

and d'oh. good point there Mike. So in other words its useless for me to get a temp adjustable iron?
