First Build / Experimenting - Suggestions on which direction to head next?

So how big of a deal would it be to feed the lpc 815 diode? I can get around 360mA OR 500mW (with fixed value resistors) but i cant seem to get at 400-420mA.

A few beam shots, Host will be coming in today.

Probably my last update for this project. In a host, and one last beam shot.

That looks excellent! Great motivation for someone like me still reading up, preparing for my first build.

Thanks for all the grats :)

Goodluck on your first build Rob! let me know if there's anything I can do to help!

So, I might alter this project into a mini mag.

Here's what I have so far...

With a clicky in the tail cap and a 14650?

Thought's?

Yes, I know...I clipped the tag off the lm317

My original images died for some reason so i'll just post the album link

^^^^ Thats pretty sweet!!! I love seeing try DIY drivers in builds. I gotta admit, I never thought a LM317 based driver would fit in a small mag lite host. Nice job!!

Thanks :) Still have a lot to do. Have to find a click small enough and figure out how its going to fit in and connect. as well as a way to secure the module in the front :|
